The bed occupancy sensor is placed under the mattress in the lumbar region and connected to the power supply. It works with all types of mattresses and can be attached to all types of slats. The bed occupancy sensor notifies you in case of a prolonged absence from bed. Due to its ergonomic design, it does not disturb the elderly person even on the thinnest mattress. Unlike the SOS device, which contains its own SIM card and its own connection, the bed sensor connects to your WiFi network. Before installation, connect it to the mobile app, which also connects the sensor to your WiFi network.

Tailored to the individual needs
Since not every situation in which a person leaves their bed is considered dangerous, you can set any desired time in the control panel after which you will receive an absence from bed notification. Additionally, you can choose in which time frame you will receive notifications, e.g. only at night or all throughout the day. This way you avoid unnecessary false alarms that would only add to your burden.

In the event of a detected prolonged absence from bed, you will receive a notification on your phone and the phones of other emergency contacts you have entered. After receiving the notification, we recommend that you call the elderly person’s SOS device immediately to check the severity of the situation. The SOS device will automatically answer the call and allow you to talk to the elderly person.
